This morning, Sept. 10, marks the beginning of site preparation and pre-construction activities for the $1.7 billion Wynn Everett Resort, as Wynn Resorts brings equipment and workers to the location.
Coming less than two weeks after the state issued an important environmental certificate to Wynn Everett, the preliminary site work represents a significant milestone. The exhaustive two-year public process has cleared the way for transforming the contaminated former Monsanto Chemical Plant into a five-star international destination resort, complete with a gleaming public waterfront park and picturesque shoreline.

The site remediation phase is anticipated to commence by the end of 2015, with the Wynn Everett Resort scheduled to open in 2018.
