On Navy Day last Tuesday, Aug. 30, roughly 150 sailors marched in formation to the Soldier’s Home while singing “Anchors Away.” Each August, Navy Day brings sailors from across the country together to give back to their local communities. The sailors who visited the Chelsea facility spent their time painting walls, mopping floors and cleaning stairwells at the Soldiers’ Home.
