The Neighborhood Developers (TND) will reveal its new director on May 31, simultaneously recognizing longtime Director Ann Houston as she departs from her current position.
According to Trey Greer of TND, the organization plans to introduce its new director during the 40th Anniversary Annual Meeting scheduled for May 31 at the Homewood Suites in Chelsea. “fblikebutton_button”
“Part of this process is that Ann Houston, TND’s Executive Director,
will be moving up to lead this new partnership,” Greer noted in correspondence to the Record. “Ann really defined the TND we all know today. And so, TND will be taking on a new Executive Director. They will be announced at our Annual Celebration on May 31.”
Houston’s tenure as TND director has spanned considerable time. This month, however, the organization formally announced her transition to an expanded position that will oversee both TND and Roxbury’s Nuestra Comunidad Development Corp.
The merged entity, known as OppCo, will focus on readying partner CDCs for future endeavors centered on home construction, community support, and opportunity creation.
The 40th Anniversary Annual Meeting takes place May 31 at 6 p.m. at Homewood Suites in Chelsea.
