Marietta (Iannuzzi) D’Orsi of Revere, a gardener, seamstress and walker whose family measured her life in its length and steadiness, died on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
Her husband, Henry D’Orsi, died before her. She leaves her daughters, Ann Marie Gresci and her husband Joe, Rose McCarthy and her husband Michael, and Joanna Dotolo and her husband Richard; her grandchildren, Joseph Gresci, Jason Gresci, Lisa Connelly, Gia Heimlich, Samantha Kennerson, Nicholas Francucci, Michael Dotolo and John Dotolo; five great-grandchildren, Kevin, Ben, Nicole, Olivia and Brooke; her brother, Rafaele Iannuzzi; and her niece, Maryann Pepe. Her sisters Carmalina Penta and Italia Lumini died before her.
Visiting hours are Friday, September 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (Route 28), Stoneham. The funeral leaves the funeral home Saturday, September 12 at 9 a.m. for a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Patrick Church, 71 Central Street, Stoneham, followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. The family suggests donations to the Life Care Center of Stoneham.
