Rochelle Lee Dickerson of Everett, known to everyone as Shelly, died unexpectedly on August 26, 2026. She was 59.
She was born in Somerville on December 31, 1966, a daughter of Robert and Janet Dickerson. Her family remembers her first as an aunt, a sister, a cousin and a friend, the roles she gave the most of herself to.
She leaves her brother, Robert Dickerson Jr.; her sister, Robin Dickerson-Bell, and Robin’s husband, Jan Bell; her nephew, Maxwell Bell, and his partner, Sally Kurdziel; many cousins; and her closest friend, Diane. Her mother died in 2018 and her sister Rhonda in 2016.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 26, at 10 a.m. at Saint Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford.
