Sophie (Arwshan) Cadieux of Revere, who liked a day at the casino, a table at the Kowloon and a trip somewhere she had not been, died on September 2, 2026. She was 95.
She was born in Boston on January 18, 1931 to Michael Arwshan and Norali (Cueter) Arwshan. Her family remembers a loud laugh and a generous hand, and a woman who put time with relatives ahead of everything else.
She leaves her sisters, Rose Gomes of Plymouth and Maria Arwshan of New York, and many nieces and nephews. Her sister Claire Arigo and her brothers Joseph and Al Arwshan died before her, as did Rose’s husband, David.
Arrangements were by the Paul Buonfiglio and Sons Funeral Home in Revere. The family suggests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
