Paul D. Yahoodik, a real estate lawyer with an office in Everett and a longtime supporter of the E Club of Everett Scholarship Foundation, died Friday, October 2. He was 73 and lived in Lynnfield.
He was born April 21, 1953, in Malden to the late Margaret (Feeley) and John Yahoodik of Everett. He grew up in Everett, where his grandmother’s Polish cooking was a favorite, and played football at Everett High School. At Boston State College, which became part of UMass Boston, he earned a history degree and a master’s in education and counseling. He then graduated from New England Law Boston and practiced real estate law around Greater Boston.
He was a “500 Club” member of the E Club, which gives scholarships to Everett athletes going on to college, and gave his time to helping them succeed. His family said he was known for his empathy and for thinking about other people’s circumstances.
He and his wife, Diane (Beech) Yahoodik, recently marked 37 years of marriage. Along with her he leaves their son, Paul Jr., of Lynnfield; their daughter, Bridget, and her husband, Jameson Crawford, of Windham, Maine; his sister, Maryann Cirino, and her husband, Robert, of Hanover; and nieces and nephews. His brother, John Yahoodik of Marblehead, died before him.
