Chelsea, Massachusetts

On Tuesday, January 5, several arrests took place in the Chelsea area. Freddie Torres Mojica, 46, of 158 Franklin Ave., Chelsea, faced charges related to operating a motor vehicle with suspended/revoked license and violation to conceal license plate. Joseph Santaniello, 55, residing at 35 Hawthorne St. Chelsea, was taken into custody for violating an abuse prevention order. A warrant led to the arrest of Tanika Harris, 31, from 82 Cleveland St., Arlington. Marvin Ruano, 24, of 96 Grove St., Chelsea, was arrested for murder.

The following day, Wednesday, January 6, brought additional arrests. Joseph Santaniello, 55, 35 Hawthorne St., Chelsea, was arrested again for violating the abuse prevention order. Multiple charges—assault and battery, furnishing false name & ss#, and multiple warrants—resulted in the arrest of Whitney Baskin, 24, from 21 Gerrish Ave., Chelsea. Deborah Parzych, 43, at 100 Fourth St., Chelsea, faced charges of destruction of property over $250 and disorderly conduct.

On Thursday, January 7, law enforcement made several arrests throughout the region. Carl Marroquin, 26, of 80 Francis St., Everett, was arrested for motor vehicle lights violation, operating motor vehicle with suspended/revoked license, and on a warrant. Limary Moreno, 26, 62 Chester Ave., Chelsea, was arrested on a warrant. Michael Edwards, 34, from 1820 Washington St., Boston, faced assault and battery charges. Nelson Rivera, 31, residing at 51 Division St., Chelsea, was arrested for larceny over $250, as was Carlos Perez, 22, of 41 Marlborough St., Chelsea. Luis Roman, 35, from 65 Centre St., Lynn, was arrested on a warrant. Richard DeCoste, 30, at 39 Heard St., Chelsea, and Bryant Angelo, 21, of 7 Bracket St., Brighton, were both arrested on warrants.

Friday, January 8, saw numerous arrests on fugitive charges and warrants. Cesar-Jose Valentin, 24, of 109 Essex St., Chelsea, was arrested for being a fugitive from justice on court warrant. Braulio Gonzalez, 40, 199 Chestnut St., Chelsea, faced the same charge. Hector Diaz, 20, from 16 Raymond St., Everett, was arrested on a warrant, followed by Victor Lopez, 37, of 291 Carter St., Chelsea, arrested for being a fugitive from justice on court warrant. Rigoberto Ramirez, 36, at 182 Revere Beach Pkwy., Revere, was arrested for being a fugitive from justice on court warrant. Brian Rodriguez, 21, 127 Shurtleff St., Chelsea, and Paul Smith, 27, from 31 Groveland St., Lynn, were arrested on warrants. Orlando DeJesus Ortiz, 29, of 127 Spencer Ave., Chelsea, was arrested for being a fugitive from justice on court warrant. Abel Ramos, 36, residing at 81 Spencer Ave., Chelsea, faced charges of trespassing, furnishing false name & ss# and an arrest on warrant. Brittany Choukas, 22, from 34 Franklin Ave., Revere, was arrested for trespassing and on multiple warrants. Abraham Rivera, 28, at 881 Broadway, Revere, was arrested for operating motor vehicle with suspended/revoked license. Kevin Taylor, 20, of 111 Magnolia St., Boston, was arrested for using motor vehicle without authority. Christian Sanchez, 26, from 278 Chelsea St., Boston, faced charges of operating motor vehicle unlicensed, red light violation and arrest on a warrant. Avila Raul Delao, 31, at 91 Burma Rd., Chelsea, was arrested for assault and battery.

On Sunday, January 10, Francisco Diaz-Lopez, 36, of 225 Washington Ave., Chelsea, was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor, leaving scene of property damage, failure to stop for police and operating a motor vehicle unlicensed.
