Last Thursday, the Black History Celebration at BHCC Chelsea Campus featured a performance by Chelsea resident Kathryn Woods. Woods presented her acclaimed one-woman show titled ‘A Woman, Ain’t I?’ — a portrayal honoring abolitionist Sojourner Truth through her own words. The 45-minute performance, which Woods has previously staged in Chelsea, brought Truth’s legacy to life once more in the City.
