Several Chelsea officials, including City Manager Jay Ash, greeted visitors from the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia during a recent Leadership Exchange visit to the city.
The gathering at Chelsea City Hall featured remarks from Ash (shown at right addressing the group), TND Director Ann Houston, and Roca Chelsea Director Shannon McAuliffe, who spoke about developing community partnerships and Chelsea’s notable achievements, such as reduced crime rates and its All-America City award. The tour drew mid- and senior-level executives from various industries, among them Pennsylvania’s Secretary of the Commonwealth. Following the visit, evaluations showed that the Chelsea stop—which featured narrated bus tours led by Ash and Houston—ranked as the top-rated activity for the Philadelphia leaders.
Ash reported hearing from numerous visitors who have “fallen in love with Chelsea, just like we have!”
