Moses Maltzman, a longtime Chelsea resident who relocated to Deerfield Beach, Florida, passed away on April 27. He was born to Jacob and Bessie Maltzman, both deceased. He is survived as the loving brother of the late June Gross, Harry Tanar, Philip Maltzman, David Maltzman and Charlotte Zeitsiff, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A funeral service will take place today, Thursday, April 29 at 2:30 p.m. at Onichty Cemetery, located on Route 99-Broadway at the Melrose–Malden line. The family has chosen to forgo a traditional memorial week. Those wishing to honor his memory are encouraged to direct contributions to the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home Foundation, 17 Lafayette Avenue, Chelsea, MA., 02150, rather than sending flowers.
