Josephine T. (Lentini) Copello, a former Senior Bookkeeper at the Chelsea Soldiers Home, passed away on October 26 at the Kaplan Family House. She was 91 years old. Born on September 16, 1918, in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Casper and Mary (DeAmecis) Lentini. She was raised and educated in South Boston and spent much of her life in Chelsea before moving to Danvers in her later years. For over 20 years, she worked as the Senior Bookkeeper at the Chelsea Soldiers Home and cherished many summers spent with her family at their cottage in Alton Bay, N.H. She was the wife of the late Francis W. Copello, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. She was the mother and mother-in-law of William and Sharon Copello of Danvers, and the sister of Mary DeChristofero of Bourne, Ann Thompson of Waltham, and Frances Noto of South Boston. A Funeral Service will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 30, at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, located at 28 Elm St., Danvers. This will be followed by burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
