Jodie Ann Genualdo, who grew up in Revere and lived most recently in Lynnfield, died on August 26, 2026. She was 58.
She was born on October 14, 1967 to Philip Genualdo Sr. and the late Carol Ann (DeSisto) Genualdo. Her family remembers a big laugh, a sharp wardrobe, a Newport habit, and a protectiveness toward the people she loved that did not switch off. She spent as much time as she could at the family’s place in New Hampshire and with her father.
Besides her father, she leaves her brothers, Joseph Genualdo of Peabody, Philip Genualdo Jr. and his wife Louise of Peabody, and Garry Genualdo of Florida; her nieces and nephew, Anthony Genualdo, Bianca Genualdo and Joei-Lyn Genualdo; her aunts Rita Krassnoff and her husband Larry of Revere and Ciretta Howard of Virginia; her grandmother, Mary Corrao; and her dog, Maisie. Her sister-in-law Carolyn Genualdo and her brother-in-law Alan Murray died before her.
Visiting hours were held September 3 at the Paul Buonfiglio and Sons Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere, with a funeral Mass September 4 at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Burial was private. The family suggests donations to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.
