Sarah R. (Arigo) Richardson, 93, Everett-Born, a Lifetime in Revere

Sarah R. Richardson

Sarah Rosaria (Arigo) Richardson, who was born in Everett and lived most of her 93 years in Revere, where she raised her family and kept a house nobody could find a speck of dust in, died on August 9, 2026.

She was born on August 18, 1932 to Biagio and Josephine Arigo. She worked for years as a secretary, but her family says the job she cared about was the one at home. She was the loud, funny center of every family gathering, and in later years she and her husband, James, took up square dancing together.

Her husband died before her. She leaves her daughter, Lori Richardson; her son, Jimmy Richardson; her granddaughter, JamieLee; and many nieces and nephews across the Richardson and Arigo families she worked to keep close.

Visiting hours were held August 18 at the Paul Buonfiglio and Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere, followed by a funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church and burial at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody. The family suggests donations to Shriners Children’s Boston.
