Christopher A. Maggio, 39, of Revere, Uncle to Twelve and Builder of Computers

Christopher A. Maggio

Christopher Anthony Maggio of Revere, who answered to Christo and half a dozen less flattering nicknames from the people who loved him, died on August 17, 2026. He was 39.

He was the kind of uncle who remembered every birthday and the kind of friend who told you exactly what he thought. He built his own computers, wrote parody songs, and had strong loyalties to Michael Jackson, Spider-Man, Pokémon, Harry Potter, and the Yankee Candle store. Basketball and a good meal rounded out the list.

He leaves his wife, Stephanie Maggio; his mother, Cheryl Aguilar, and stepfather, Alejandro Aguilar; his father, Darren Maggio, and stepmother, Tracey Maggio; his grandmother, Elaine Maggio; his siblings Darren James Maggio, Jonathan Maggio, Nicholas Maggio, Beth Sloane, Alexander Aguilar and Selena Aguilar; and twelve nieces and nephews, Jayden, Julian, Briella, Grayson, Milani, Tristan, Roman, Johnny, Perry, Vivian, Veyda and Mila Jay, who were the center of his world.

A celebration of his life was held August 29 at the Kowloon in Saugus. The family suggests donations to the Joslin Diabetes Center, 330 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.
