Craig “Ozzy” McDonough, a retail manager at Bob’s Discount Furniture for 22 years who had recently come back to the Revere area after two decades in New Bedford, died on August 11, 2026. He was 57.
He was born in Saugus on April 20, 1969 and grew up there. Work earned him a reputation for reliability; his free time went to a lake and a fishing rod in any season, along with paintball, kayaking, motorcycles, boats and ATVs. He followed the Patriots, doted on animals, and was always in the middle of a project on the house.
He leaves his wife, Jamie McDonough; his daughter, Ashley; his son, John, and John’s partner, Kiara; his sisters, Michelle and Ginette; and his grandchildren, Aubrey, Caleb and Aubrey Rose. A granddaughter, Bella Rae, was expected within weeks of his death. His parents, Lawrence and Dorothy (LaVoie) McDonough, died before him.
Visiting hours were held August 21 at the Paul Buonfiglio and Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere.
